4 reasons Buying an Older home is better than buying a New one

If you’re looking to buy a home, there are tons of things you have to take into consideration. There’s budget, location, how many rooms you want, the size of kitchens/backyards…

But think about this! Before you consider looking at the year 2000 construction zone, consider browsing through some of the charming older homes in your area. Here's why;
1.) Older houses mean lower prices!
Enough said.
2.) Older houses are found in more established neighborhoods!
That means closer to schools, shopping centers, restaurants, parks, etc!
3.) Older houses offer more variety and style than those cookie cutters neighborhoods!
You will hear again and again that a home is worth buying if it has good bones. Nevermind the shag carpet, the lime green paint or the ugly wooden cabinets. That's all surface! It's about what's inside that counts. And with so many older houses to choose from, you can be as picky as you want.
4.) Older homes means less chance of a home owners association in neighborhood!
That means no middle aged, balding do-gooders breathing regulations and restrictions down your neck and poking their noses over your fence. Wanna build a fire pit? You can! Care to put in a trampoline? Go for it! How about a pool? The possibilities are endless when you own your own land! If you buy an older home, your backyard is YOURS!
